8According to Texas Concealed Handgun Laws and Selected Statutes, as of September 1, 1997 concealed handgun license holders who are stopped by law enforcement for Failure or Refusal to Display Handgun License are not arrested. Such individuals receive a 90-day concealed handgun license suspension.
